The following article originally appeared in a 2012 edition of the magazine Bible Study . . and how!! In this article, I try to show how the various linear and chiastic structures that Paul employs in Galatians Ch. 6 serve to organise and emphasise the teaching of that chapter. Chapter 6 is also seen in the wider context of chapters 5 and 6 considered together, and at the end of the main article, I have included a separate section in which I attempt to present a “moral map” of the teaching in Galatians chapters 5 and 6.
I hope you will find this article interesting, and as always I welcome comments and corrections!
